Are you sick of Facebook?

I sure am! They aren’t standing up for anyone but themselves. They bury our friends posts behind mountains of advertising and suggested groups intended to set the hook into your jaw and keep you forever transfixed on their platform.

Recently they suggested that I follow Neil Degrasse Tyson. I was amazed, until I realized that it wasn’t even him. As I looked into it, I found that there were about 6 Neil Degrasse Tyson’s all pretending to be him.

Their retrenchment from DEI activities leaves me with a hollow feeling and I desperately want to leave this platform. But there are somethings I want to do first.

In relation to the Babb Family Association, I still get about half of my website traffic through the links I post on Facebook. If you have trouble seeing the forest for all the trees they have planted, please join me by subscribing directly to Babb Unabridged using the dialog box below:

It’s that simple and it is free of charge. Paying subscribers are always appreciated, but not everyone has the means to financially support the organization, and I get it. Once you have subscribed you no longer need to get out your sifting screen to hunt for gold. It’ll come directly to your inbox with every post.

Please join me and take back your power and your inner Babb!

  1. Yes, FB is a nightmare. I almost went for one of the many “ Neil Degrasse Tyson” bogus accounts. My millennial kids barely use it, so I’m fine using the wonderful blog! Substack is great, and Bluesky seems prettty civil also.

  2. I did try to move my site to Substack but their import tools were lacking in compatibility, despite what they tell you. WordPress is fine though.
