I came across this receipt from a Conover, Babb & Co. in Philadelphia, PA from the day after Christmas in 1884. The company sells footwear. I’m unable to place the company ownership as we have only the last names of the owners.

So, I’m throwing it out to the masses to see if someone can help me track this one down. Note that Conover is a surname, not the first name of our Babb.

Any ideas?
