The Nathanael Greene Museum plans to provide a first glimpse to the public of Seth Babb’s Homestead on October 5th, 2014 (12:30-4:00pm) at a Sunday Social: Family Picnic Fundraiser.

Work has been progressing steadily and the fireplace hearth is now complete. Painting is underway and should be complete before the event. We hope to install the permanent roof in late October and the Museum will be commencing a re-landscaping of the plot of land in the near future.

The homestead is located at the corner of S. Main & W. McKee in Greeneville, TN. As the event is a fundraiser, Admission is $17/Adult, $7 for children 6-12 & just $5 for children 5 and under. Adults who act like children still pay the $17. Admission includes live music, a catered lunch, activities for the children and admission to the Quilt Show & sale(normally $5, but free with Admission). Not to mention a tour of the 1787 Seth Babb Homestead! There is also a silent auction!

The Museum asks that you bring chairs and blankets. Make sure to Reserve your tickets by Sept 29th by calling 423-636-1558. Full details are available at http://nathanaelgreenemuseum.com.
