There is just one remaining branch of the Green Men of Maryland Babbs tree left to explore. That is of the top level family of James Babbs (3-3) b. 1735 in Anne Arundel, MD and d. about 1802, also in Anne Arundel.

I am looking for a Babb(s) descendant of this line to conduct a Y-DNA test with. The Babb Family Association will pay for this test once the candidate’s paper trail is validated.

We have one test on hand from this branch of the tree, but it doesn’t match either of the two other genetic lines established by William & Hamutel (Beall) Babb (3-1) or John & Rebecca (Lane) Babbs (3-2).
