Announcement: Babb Unabridged, 3rd Edition is coming soon, in Print!

Once upon a time, in the realm of Babb knowledge and history, there existed a grand library of first editions, bound in leather and etched with the wisdom of ages. These tomes were cherished, for they held the essence of a lineage, a tale of Phillip’s kin from the green lands of England.

Nine winters passed, and the library grew silent, its shelves bereft of new chronicles. The second edition, though rich in lore, was but a specter in the digital ether, lacking the warmth of parchment and ink.

In the span of five years, the library’s keeper embarked on a quest, gathering 13,000 souls and 14,000 scrolls of new lore. The island of Barbados, with its sun-kissed shores and tangled tales, joined the fold, a mosaic piece in the grand design. Bridges were built across the ocean, made up of unabridged works of passion. The library’s keeper asked, how could this tale not be put into parchment?

The time had come for the keeper to forge a new tome, a vessel to cradle the burgeoning history in their palms. Plans were laid to unveil this treasure at the June Reunion in the hamlet of Winchester, VA. The book, a labor of love and fervor, was nearing completion, though its price remained a mystery, its prelude unwritten.

This inaugural volume would herald the saga of Phillip’s ancestors and their journey to the new world, tracing the lineage to the grandchildren who walked the shores of this desired place. It promised to be a tapestry of untold stories, breathing life into the names that time had rendered but skeletal.

The chronicler, weary from weaving tales of White Stags and Green Men, paused to pen this new chapter. The quill would soon dance again over the saga, but the present called for focus, for the birth of a legacy in ink and fiber.

As the final strokes were drawn, whispers of Phillip’s legacy fluttered like leaves in the wind, heralding the arrival of the tome. The keepers beckoned the curious and the devoted:

“Stay tuned, for the story unfolds anew, and history shall find its home once more in the cradle of your hands.”

  1. Daniel, where is the information on the reunion? I saw it mentioned once before but never saw the details. Where in Virginia and when?
