Harriet N. Babb wrote an article that was published in 1869 in The Ladies Repository. I believe her to be Harriet Newhall Babb (1824-1905), wife of Harrison Patterson Babb 1-5-4-4-2-2-1, who lived in Boothbay and South Thomaston, Maine. Fortunately, the issue of the magazine was preserved and I purchased it on Ebay sometime ago. I had trouble getting it to scan and until I got the new scanning equipment for the England research trip last year. Harrison was a descendant of Phillip of the Isles of Shoals (1), through his son Peter (1-5). High resolution images are available by clicking on the pages below.
