Reunion Updates (New Host Hotel)

It seems I underestimated the number of participants for the upcoming Babb Family Reunion in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. We appear to have outgrown our original host hotel and thanks to some fancy footwork by Cheryl Schwarzenbart we now have a group rate with the Voyageur Inn & Conference Center. They are also reserving a meeting space for us to gather as needed.

You are under no obligation to move your own reservation, but with the package they gave us, I’m moving my room to the Voyager and that will become the new central meeting place for our gatherings.

Voyager Inn & Conference Center
Address: 200 Viking Dr, Reedsburg, WI 53959
Phone: (608) 524-6431 You have to call in order to get the group rate.

Founders Day Celebration Package:
Double/Queen Rooms–$79.00+ tax
Each room includes 2- $3.00 off breakfast coupons for Sunday & Monday
Plan to stay the nights of July 3rd and 4th, departing July 5th.
As a reminder, there is no cost for the reunion itself, but please remember to do a few things:
1. Make your hotel reservations now.
2. Send me a note to let me know the names, emails & mobile numbers of the people who are attending. The easiest way is to reply to this page. (Don’t worry your information will remain private).
3. If you are flying make your plane reservations now and know that you will need transportation to Reedsburg/Baraboo. You can fly into a neighboring airport, but a car will be needed for the last part of the journey. I’m flying into Chicago and driving from there, but Minneapolis and Madison are a little bit closer.
See you soon!
Dan

    • Everyone is welcome at our reunions. I post the pertinent info here on my blog. There is no registration for this one, so if you can make it to Reedsburg, WI by Noon on Saturday, then get in the car and join us. We have them every 2-3 years and will set the date & location of the next one at this one. The locations typically reflect a place with broad historical significance to the family. You can also keep up with the family through our Facebook Group: Babb Family Association.
