News has just come in that the 1787 Seth Babb Homestead in Greeneville, TN has been awarded a 2016 Award of Distinction for the Building Preservation efforts. Details are still in short supply, but the award ceremony is today at their Annual Meeting. I’ll forward more details and hopefully some pictures as they come in. Stay Tuned!

How do we know that we are related to these Babbs?
That is a great question! Seth is a descendant of Phillip Babb of the Isles of Shoals, which is where about 80% of the Babb’s in the US originate. So there is a great likelihood that you are related.
