Please join me in a moment of silence to remember one of lost members. Many of you may remember Doris, the mother of our former President Judy Babb, from the 2004 Babb Family Reunion in Greeneville, TN.

Her obituary follows:

Doris Babb died December 26, 2013. She was born in Paris, MS on June 11, 1929. She was a resident of Memphis, TN. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Memphis.

Doris has one sister, Evelyn McNeely, who survives her. John E. Babb, Ronnie Babb, Judy Babb, and Terry Babb are her children. She also leaves nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services for Doris will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home at 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN on Sunday, December 29th at 2:30p.m. Visitation for friends at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Foundation for Breast Cancer research.
